Last week, Team Ahn competed at the 2018 AAU National Championships in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Competing against approximately 2,000 of the nation's best competitors from all over the United States and Puerto Rico, Master Ryan Newburn, Mr. Paul Walden, and Sean Herzig represented Ahn Taekwondo Institute with outstanding performances. The annual Ahn Taekwondo Classic was held on April 27, 2018 in Mason, Ohio. This was the 51st anniversary for the event. The honorary chairperson for the event was Grandmaster Kyongwon Ahn. The Tournament Director was Master Jamie Hamilton. The events showcased at the tournament were breaking, forms, Olympic style sparring, and point sparring. 550 competitors form 66 schools and clubs competed throughout the day – with the final match ending at 7:00 pm. On Saturday, December 2nd, three members of Team Ahn competed at the Midwest Michigan Taekwondo Championships in Milan, Michigan. Sean Herzig, Paul Walden, and Master Ryan Newburn represented their team and Ahn Taekwondo Institute with strong performances, integrity, and humility.
